Dan Miller is a Visual Artist based in Glasgow. His practice moves fluidly across a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video. He creates works that investigate history, landscape and technology, through the territories of scale, ratio and facsimile.

Miller produces paintings in extended series, through a process of algorithmic layering and meticulously applied acrylic, oil, watercolour and silkscreened separations. The paintings present a unified perspective that competes with hard-edge forms, encouraging engagement with the surface: the canvas as object.
