Emily Smit-Dicks is an artist, maker and educator, originally from Canada and based in Glasgow. She co-runs a small business repurposing textile waste called Second Cashmere.
The appliqué works in this exhibition depict still-life tableaus of pottery, drawing inspiration from the compositions of Giorgio Morandi and the textile art of Ayako Miyawaki.
