Joe Budi O’Brien is an artist and photographer living and working in Glasgow. O’Brien has most recently exhibited his work at Outlier’s Gallery space (Glasgow, UK) for his first Solo Show ‘Every Step’. ‘Every Step’ is a photographic diary of Glasgow runners who completed the Paris Marathon in 2023, exploring the meaning of running and themes upon community. O’Brien is interested in human well-being. He explores how physical activities and our connection with nature may bring inner peace. Alongside ‘Every Step’ he exhibits two new photographs; one from a track session with Outlier Run Club, and one from a walk in the countryside where he’s from near Lancaster, the North-West of England.
