Lynsey MacKenzie graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2019. Recent solo exhibitions include 'Beyond the Surface', Tatha Gallery, Newport on Tay (2023), 'Chronochromia', The Briggait, Glasgow (2022), and HERE AND NOW, SaltSpace Gallery, Glasgow (2020). Selected group exhibitions include 'Start with Something', Glasgow Print Studio, Glasgow (2025), ‘I won’t stay in a world without love’, BEEP Painting Biennial, Swansea (2024) & Aberystwyth (2025), ’Frontiers: Painting in Scotland Now’, Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh (2024), ‘Platform’, Edinburgh Art Festival, French Institute, Edinburgh (2022), and ‘New Contemporaries’, Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh (2020). Recent awards include the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Award and the RSA Latimer Award. She has participated in residencies across the UK and has work in both public and private collections.
