Ralph's practice explores contemporary society through the lens of remembered sci-fi and horror characters. Drawing from the concept of hauntology, he creates fragments of lost futures, gesturing times, places and events that might have been, while critiquing the decisions made by those in political and financial power. With strong foundations in printmaking, Ralph’s approach has evolved to encompass photography, creative writing, performance, installation and site-specific interventions such as projection, spray painting and sticker bombing.
