The images in this series were made during periods of exercise between the outbreak of Covid-19 in early 2020, and a head injury acquired while cycling in late 2023. During the initial lockdown periods, strictly regulated daily exercise presented the only opportunity to venture beyond interior domestic spaces, and encounter a wider world. Through his trips cycling, running and walking with small portable cameras, we are able to see what the artist sees in quiet and solitary spaces.
