I grew up in a small town in the Midlands and made my way to London to go to art school. I was awarded my Fine Art BA from Goldsmiths College in 2001 and ended up staying in London for nearly 20 years, relocating to Glasgow in 2017 with my family.

In my paintings there is a focus on domesticity and a celebration of the everyday, I’ve always loved punk and that has inspired a DIY sensibility in my work. Alongside my painting practice I was once a singer in The Fairies Band and co-founded indie-label Pushing Pussy Records with fellow band members. I was also co-founder/co-director of A-side B-side Gallery and Studios in Hackney, London 2012-2016.
